This policy explains how HaulHub uses cookies and similar technologies on haulhub.eu. It complements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as login state, language, or theme) over time. We also use similar technologies — local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels — which we group under the term "cookies" in this policy.
2. Categories we use
- Strictly necessary — required for the Platform to work (login session, anti-CSRF, consent record, bot protection). No consent required under Art. 5(3) ePrivacy.
- Preferences — remember non-essential choices, such as theme and language override. Set only with your consent.
- Analytics — help us understand how visitors use the Platform (Google Analytics 4). Set only with your consent.
- Marketing — measure campaign effectiveness and ad relevance (Meta Pixel). Set only with your consent.

Withdrawing consent is as simple as giving it. Open the cookie-settings button at any time, change your choices, and save. We keep a record of your consent for evidentiary purposes for up to 12 months.

We may update this policy when we add, remove, or change a cookie or a third-party tool. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be announced via the cookie banner.
